The Loft is located in Palermo (on Juncal and Oro), a safe and upscale neighbourhood of Buenos Aires that concentrates the biggest green spaces of the city, surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and outstanding public transportation. Walking towards and past Santa Fe Ave, is Palermo Viejo, a cultural and entertainment area with bars, pubs and restaurants (you want to be close by, but not right there so you can have a quiet night of sleep), and a fashion and crafts avant-garde zone particularly developed by young people. Walking on the opposite side towards Libertador Ave is the rose garden. Walking 5' North you get to an area called Las Canitas with many restaurants. On Santa Fe Ave, which is 2 blocks from the Loft, you can take 22 bus lines, and the metro stop "Palermo, Linea D" is right there. The best place to catch a taxi from the Loft is on Oro or Santa Fe.
Parks
Walking distance from the Loft you'll find some of the best parks of the city:
the Botanical Garden, the Jardin Japones, the Zoo, the Planetarium, and the Park 3 de Febrero (see photos)
El Barrio de Palermo es uno de los más amplios dentro de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, ya que es el formado por la mayor cantidad de cuadras. El clásico dicho "ir a Palermo" significa sin ninguna duda ir a sus bosques con sus floridos jardines, sus lagos, significa trasladarse al pulmón verde más grande de Buenos Aires y quizás de muchas ciudades importantes del mundo, comparable con el High Park de Londres
